Esade Alumni is pleased to invite you to this online Refresher Program session entitled “Emotionally Intelligent Leaders,” led by Steven Guest (MBA 96 / PhD 08), senior fellow and coach in the department of People and Organization at Esade Business School.
Need to resolve conflicts, inspire teams, and create a positive work culture? Who doesn’t, right? And while data is powerful, leaders often forget the role of emotional intelligence in managing others. An emotionally intelligent leader is someone who can recognize, understand, and manage their own emotions—and also effectively understand and influence the emotions of others. This Alumni Refresher delves into a trove of knowledge developed and inspired in an Emotional Intelligence (EI) model by Richard Boyatzis, which forms the backbone of ESADE’s LEAD program. Participants get an overview of the key EI skills and leadership styles that create resonant relationships.
