Many argue that the business is the gold standard for businesses to approach sustainability challenges. The business case for sustainability suggests that sustainable business practices drive profitability and competitive advantage. But what happens if the business case for sustainability doesn’t hold up? Some sustainability challenges such as inequality or biodiversity loss are hard to translate into business benefits. Business benefits from sustainable practices may only accrue in the long term. How can businesses navigate this space? How can they deal with situations where sustainability and profits are not obviously aligned?
Join Esade Alumni Berlin Chapter for an insightful discussion led by Professor Tobias Hahn, where we will challenge conventional perspectives and explore the complexities of sustainability in the business world.
An evening of thought-provoking insights, meaningful conversations, and networking opportunities awaits. Don’t miss out!
